Subsequent arms including Parker Messick, Michael Wacha, Joe Ryan, Nick Martinez, Cade Smith, Louis Varland, Aroldis Chapman, and Bryan Baker maintained the shutout, keeping the National All-Stars' offense silent. Drew Rasmussen and Jacob Latz also contributed effectively in relief.

Offensively for the American All-Stars, Yordan Alvarez finished 1-for-2 with a run scored, while Shea Langeliers went 1-for-1 with a walk and a run.
