Game Recap

Colorado Rockies defeated Milwaukee Brewers 5-2 at American Family Field. The Rockies established early momentum, putting up five runs behind a strong start from Tomoyuki Sugano and a collective effort from the bullpen to stifle the Brewers' offense.

Sugano provided 5.1 innings of work, allowing two runs on six hits with five strikeouts. Despite surrendering two home runs, he kept the Brewers in check. The bullpen trio of Victor Vodnik, Antonio Senzatela, and Jordan Romano combined for 3.2 scoreless innings to secure the victory, holding off any potential late-game comeback attempts.

Shane Drohan took the loss for Milwaukee, allowing five runs on six hits over 6.0 innings while striking out six. The Brewers' relief efforts from Grant Anderson and Craig Yoho were effective in keeping the game within reach, but the initial five-run deficit proved too much to overcome.

Key Performances

William Contreras added a multi-hit game, going 2-for-4, but the team struggled to capitalize on opportunities throughout the contest.
