Game Recap

The Los Angeles Angels lost to the Texas Rangers 6-7 in a tight contest hosted at Globe Life Field. The Rangers relied on early power, while the Angels mounted a late-inning offensive charge that ultimately fell short. Texas secured the win behind a resilient bullpen effort that managed to neutralize threats in the closing frames.

The Rangers established control early behind a three-homer effort from their lineup, which proved difficult for Angels starter Reid Detmers to overcome. Detmers surrendered 5 runs on 7 hits across 4.0 innings of work, striking out 6 batters. Despite his struggles, the Angels kept the game within reach, though they couldn't overcome the deficit against a rotation and bullpen headlined by Nathan Eovaldi, who tallied 10 strikeouts over 6.0 innings.
