Game Recap

Miami Marlins lost to Milwaukee Brewers 1-3 at American Family Field. The game was characterized by strong pitching performances from the starters, but a late-inning surge by Milwaukee proved to be the difference in the final outcome.

Eury Perez provided a dominant start for the Marlins, throwing 6.0 scoreless innings while allowing only one hit and striking out nine batters. Despite his effort, the Marlins' bullpen could not hold the lead, as Pete Fairbanks allowed three runs and a home run in just 0.1 innings of work, ultimately taking the loss.

For Milwaukee, Robert Gasser went 5.0 innings, allowing only one run on three hits and striking out five. The relief corps, featuring Chad Patrick, Aaron Ashby, and Grant Anderson, held the Marlins scoreless over the final four innings to secure the victory.

Key Performances

Esteury Ruiz provided the lone spark for the Miami offense, going 1-for-3 with a home run and the team's only RBI. Heriberto Hernandez contributed with a 2-for-4 performance, while Xavier Edwards, Griffin Conine, and Jakob Marsee each recorded one hit for the Marlins.

On the Brewers side, William Contreras was the offensive standout, hitting a home run and driving in all three of Milwaukee's runs while finishing 1-for-2. Jackson Chourio, Andrew Vaughn, and Gary Sanchez also added hits for the Brewers, with Chourio scoring one of the deciding runs.
