Game Recap

The New York Mets lost to the Milwaukee Brewers 3-4 in a closely contested matchup at American Family Field. The Mets opened their scoring account with home runs from Marcus Semien and Brett Baty. Semien finished his day 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk, while Baty provided a spark by going 1-for-2 with a home run. Francisco Alvarez also contributed to the effort, going 1-for-4 with an RBI, but the Mets ultimately fell just short against a consistent Milwaukee offensive attack.

Christian Yelich provided key support in the order, going 2-for-5 with two RBIs to round out the scoring for Milwaukee. The Brewers effectively managed their pitching rotation, with Logan Henderson picking up the start and working five innings, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out nine.
