Game Recap

The Philadelphia Phillies lost to the Miami Marlins 8-6 on a night defined by shifting momentum at loanDepot park. While Philadelphia jumped out to a productive offensive showing early, the Marlins' resilience allowed them to overcome a deficit and secure the victory.

Philadelphia's starting pitcher Jesus Luzardo worked 6.1 innings, allowing six runs on six hits with five strikeouts. Despite his efforts, the Marlins managed to string together key hits. Jonathan Bowlan later took the mound and struggled, giving up two runs and a home run in just one inning of work, which proved decisive in the final outcome.

Dax Fulton, Tyler Zuber, and Pete Fairbanks combined for four scoreless innings, holding the Phillies in check and preventing them from regaining the lead.
