The Phillies struggled offensively throughout the game. Kyle Schwarber managed to be the only player to get a hit for Philadelphia, going 1-for-3, but the team collectively faltered, registering no runs and only one hit in total. Trea Turner, Bryce Harper, and Brandon Marsh all went hitless, finishing 0-for-3, further compounding the Phillies' woes at the plate.

Tanner Banks and Chase Shugart provided brief relief appearances but failed to stem the tide, allowing the Brewers to maintain their momentum.
