Game Recap

Seattle Mariners lost to Texas Rangers 1-7 in a lopsided contest held at Globe Life Field. The Rangers took control early and maintained their lead throughout the evening, fueled by a dominant outing from their starting pitcher. The Mariners struggled to generate consistent offense against the Texas pitching staff, managing only a single run while failing to mount a comeback.

Texas Rangers starter Nathan Eovaldi paved the way for the victory, putting on a masterful performance over 7.0 innings. Eovaldi limited the Mariners to just three hits and one earned run while striking out eight batters and walking only one. The bullpen finished the job, with Robby Ahlstrom and Ben Peoples pitching an inning each of scoreless relief to secure the win.

Conversely, Seattle starter Bryan Woo faced significant pressure throughout his outing. Woo lasted 5.0 innings, surrendering nine hits and five earned runs while striking out five. The Mariners' bullpen, consisting of Cole Wilcox and Nick Davila, was unable to halt the Rangers' offensive momentum, with each allowing a run during their respective appearances.

Key Performances

The Rangers' offensive attack was led by Wyatt Langford and Joc Pederson, who were both instrumental in the victory. Langford went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI, while Pederson contributed a 3-for-5 performance. Ezequiel Duran also played a major role in the middle of the order, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Alejandro Osuna added a key hit in his 1-for-4 showing, driving in two runs.

For the Mariners, J.P. Crawford provided the only run, going 2-for-3 with an RBI. Luke Raley scored the team's lone run while going 1-for-2, and Colt Emerson managed a hit in three at-bats. Despite these efforts, Seattle's top of the order faced difficulty, with Julio Rodriguez going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts and Randy Arozarena limited to a 1-for-4 night.
