Game Recap

Toronto Blue Jays lost to Boston Red Sox 4-6 in a matchup hosted at Fenway Park. The Red Sox built an early lead and managed to hold off a late push from the Blue Jays to clinch the victory. Boston's pitching staff, led by starter Patrick Sandoval, kept Toronto scoreless through the first 4.2 innings, providing enough cushion to withstand a late-inning rally.

The game turned in Boston's favor behind multi-hit performances from Anthony Seigler and Ceddanne Rafaela, both of whom connected for home runs. While Toronto attempted a comeback late in the game, including a three-run effort in the seventh inning, the Boston bullpen eventually sealed the win, with Aroldis Chapman closing out the final frame.
